If you want to get involved in the future then please send us a message on Facebook.
The Zurich Classic seemed to go down well again with players and fans. What did you think of the event?
Trem – I thought it was a decent event. Not the eagle birdie fest we grow to like but very good.
David – Great event. Always good to change it up from the usual medal format.
Elliot – Great. Seems a little more vibrant than regular events. American teams dominating again… sign of things to come in September?
Scott – Good to have the different format and shows how individual and team events are totally different. None of my picks were anywhere near the top of the leaderboard.
Ross – It’s a great event, something different to break up the same stroke play events week after week. I didn’t catch much of it but a few good showings from the European pairs!
Ady – It good to have variety, keeps the fans and viewers interested throughout the season. I’d like to see a Texas Scramble format over 4 days on a course with lots to risk and reward
Andrew – Went really well I thought and busy.
Peter – It was a welcome change to the normal singles stroke play format competitions. It was also nice to see some of the players having a laugh with their playing partners.
Craig – Thought it was a good event showing golf can be played as a team game as well as an individual.
The Zurich Classic saw golf use walk on songs for the first time – What would you pick to walk to the first tee?
Trem – I predict a riot. Kaiser chiefs
David – Coldplay – Adventure of a lifetime
Elliot – Smack my bitch up – Prodigy. Bitch being the ball…
Scott – Wild Thing
Ross – Rock n Roll Star by Oasis, my favourite song so it has to be that.
Ady – “Thunderstruck” by ACDC or D:Ream’s “Things can only get better”
Andrew – Flower of Scotland.
Craig – Set you free
There was another strong showing from Tommy Fleetwood and Chris Paisley, but who is the best British golfer on the planet right now?
Four players got votes here. Ian Poulter and Rory McIlroy received one apiece. Justin Rose got three but leading the way was the current Race to Dubai champion – Tommy Fleetwood.
Do you have a pick for the Wells Fargo?
Trem – Billy Horschel
David – Trey Mullinax
Elliot – Tiger – Who else?!?
Scott – Rory McIlroy
Ross – Rory McIlroy
Ady – Justin Thomas (Or Jamie Lovemark as a longshot)
Peter – Rickie Fowler
Craig Barratt – Patrick Reed
Where does Tiger Woods finish at the Wells Fargo this week?
Trem – Outside the top 15
David – Top 15
Elliot – Win!
Scott Martin – Top 10-15
Ross – If he shakes the rust off then another top five is within his grasp.
Ady – Outside the top 20
Andrew – Top 10
Peter – Just outside the top 10
This week sees the return of the Golf Sixes event. Will you be watching? Why/Why not?
David – Yes. It’s a great change to the usual medal format. Showing Golf can be versatile. Show the pro golfers in a lighter mood.
Scott – Yes, be nice to see the Scots do well
Ross – Yes definitely. Watched it last night and was great to see something totally different. Players have to make different decisions due to the short number of holes so potential for being more aggressive.
Ady – I will, when work doesn’t get in the way!!! It’s been entertaining for the crowds and we should support any move that encourages the kids to get involved.
Peter – I’ve not seen it before so will certainly give it a look to see what it’s all about.
Craig – Yes, its very entertaining
Would you rather win the Open, win the Masters or hole the winning putt at the Ryder Cup?
This was very split between two. Perhaps surprisingly, winning the Masters came in last place. With an equal number of picks, winning the Open and holing the winning putt at the Ryder Cup split first place.
If you could play just one brand of golf clubs for the rest of your life, what are you picking?
Leading the way was Callaway. They seemed to have a bit of a slump for a while, but they are right at the top of the club manufacturing these days.
If you could play just one more round of golf, what course are you picking?
Just five courses received votes. Leading the way was, of course, Augusta. Sawgrass was not too far behind and Trump Aberdeen, Celtic Manor and Pebble Beach also received picks.
