Some Big Names Have Dropped Out. Can Tiger Woods or Paul Casey sneak in? PGA Tour Power Rankings

Paul Casey pulled off a fantastic win, but can he - or runner-up Tiger Woods - make it into our top 10 this week?

Last week ended up being the Tiger Woods show. His showing at the Valspar Championship got the world of golf talking.

Many believed that after his countless surgeries he would never be able to compete at the highest level again but his runner-up finish put an end to those doubts.

In between all the attention on Woods, Paul Casey finally got his second win on the PGA Tour after numerous close calls in recent years.

His final day 65 saw him come from behind to clinch a fantastic win.

A lot of our top 10 from last week did not play at the Valspar, but did the likes of Casey and Woods do enough to replace the likes of Jordan Spieth, Gary Woodland and Tommy Fleetwood who all drop out of the rankings?

10 – Sergio Garcia

Last week – Unranked

Sergio followed up a top 10 in the WGC Mexico Championship with another strong showing at the Valspar Championship. His fantastic final day 65 saw him shoot up the leaderboard and into fourth. With his first ever major championship defence less than a month away, the Spaniard is rounding into form.

9 – Alex Noren

Last week – 9

The Swede did not play last week. He has played five events in 2018. His worst finish is a tie for 21st. A big win on the PGA Tour can’t be too far away for Noren.

8 – Justin Rose

Last week – Unranked

In his last 10 starts worldwide, Rose has six(!) top five finishes including three wins. He put himself in a great position to get another win at the Valspar but just could not get it done on Sunday. Rose has become such a consistent performer and he has every chance to go one better than last year and pick up the green jacket at Augusta.
